Just as everything was falling into place, the future I envisioned shattered to pieces. Trying to put my life back together, I found that every challenge became an opportunity to grow, every setback a lesson in perseverance. The road ahead seemed daunting, yet I was determined to carve out a life of my own. 
 
My husband and I had just moved from Trinidad to Dallas, Texas, when about a year later, we decided to get divorced. With no job, no knowledge of the area and no connections to help me, I had no idea what the future held.  
 
As I grappled with the many emotions I was experiencing through such drastic change, I called my family, seeking guidance. The easy choice was to move back and rebuild my life where I already had roots. In the back of my mind, I expected them to tell me to come home. But instead, they reminded me how many more opportunities I would have here and had faith I was independent enough to do it on my own. They wanted me to see the bigger picture, encouraging me to at least try. With complete faith in my heart, I set out on my new adventure! 
 
 Starting over, I had to navigate the intricacies of finding a job, securing a place to live and familiarizing myself with

the Metroplex—all without the aid of modern conveniences, as this was almost 20 years ago. The kindness of practical strangers became my lifeline, guiding me in times of need. 
 
With determination as my compass, I delved back into the world of accounting, drawing upon the skills honed working in Trinidad. Once I felt stable, I began to envision what I wanted for my future—accounting was not my deep passion anymore.

 

I wanted to have a greater impact on people. So, I dabbled in various ventures—an investment group and a brief stint in kitchen design—but it wasn't until I came across a real estate ad that I found my true calling. I remembered my agent friend in Trinidad wanting me to join her many years before. Her confidence in me then gave me the encouragement I needed to dive in. 


 In 2007, I embarked on the journey of buying my first home. Truthfully, I knew nothing about the process, but when I laid eyes on my home, I knew it was the right one—I absolutely loved it then and even more now. We wrote up an offer, and by 10 o’clock that night, it was accepted. Becoming a homeowner was one of the biggest milestones on my journey, a testament to my independence and resilience. 


 
Looking at the real estate ad, I was reminded of my personal experience and how impactful that decision was on my life. It gave me that sense of stability, grounding me in this place I now call home while also being a great investment. 


 
It was time to take another leap of faith. After all I had overcome, I knew I could take on this challenge, becoming a licensed REALTOR® in 2012, guided by an unwavering resolve to succeed with God and my guardian angels by my side. My goal was to help people through significant life transitions, being an advocate and guide in their time of need.  
 
 As the years unfolded, my journey in real estate became a conduit 
for meaningful connections and profound transformations. I genuinely care about the success of my clients; many become friends, which I cherish deeply. 
 
Throughout my career, I discovered a sense of purpose—a calling to empower others to chart their own paths and embrace the boundless potential within them. To extend this goal, I have also become a life coach, driven by a desire to pay forward the kindness and guidance bestowed upon me by so many incredible people.  
 
As I reflect on my journey, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of pride in how far I’ve come. I’m filled with gratitude for the countless people who've illuminated my path and the experiences that have shaped me. This is a beautiful life I’ve created, and with the relationships I've made along the way, I couldn’t be happier! 
 
One of my greatest passions is learning about and experiencing different cultures. Traveling is a core part of who I am; from getting to step inside a pyramid in Cairo, Egypt, to seeing Stonehenge, I enjoy exploring the world. The beautiful home that I have now owned for 17 years is a reflection of my travels, filled with the treasures I have collected over the years. My clients come from diverse backgrounds, and through my experiences traveling the world, I can connect with them on a deeper level. There's something truly special about getting to know people, putting myself in their shoes and striving to align the buying and selling process with what matters most to them.  
 
Drawing from my own experiences, I've developed a specialty in supporting those undergoing transitions such as divorce or starting anew. I pride myself on ensuring my clients never feel alone—I am here to provide everything you need, including emotional support, professional advocacy, trusted recommendations for vendors, and so much more!
